Student Liaison and Security Officer
Based at our East Campus, Wilson Avenue, Brighton
37 hours per week, Term Time Only
We are seeking to recruit a Student Liaison and Security officer to work within the Estates department, to ensure and maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, learners and campus visitors.
Duties will include patrolling the College internally and externally, ensuing the student code of conduct is adhered to, standards of behaviour are maintained and discussing areas of concern related to campus security and learner safety.
You must has a proven track record of working with young people, challenging behaviours and handling difficult situations. Having significant experience of working in a security role or other relevant experience and a good understanding of security related issues is also essential.
You will need GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C or equivalent, and possess or willing to work towards an appropriate qualification in areas such as security and customer care.
