Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (GB MET) has now merged with the Chichester College Group (CCG). From 1 August 2022, all GB MET staff have transferred to employment with CCG; employment terms and conditions will remain the same.

Full-time and Part-time hours available

We have an exciting career opportunity to support our Engineering learners at our Broadwater College.

Our Engineering department has been growing over the past few years with group numbers and facilities delivering L2,3 and extended diplomas, L4 HNC in both Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Engineering. The Engineering teaching team is very dynamic and creative in their approach to delivering an outstanding experience for learners wishing to pursue a career in Engineering and has been engaged in developing Industry links.  Do you feel you would fit into this team? 

If yes, then you will be self-motivated and want to inspire the next generation of Engineers.  You will have a relevant level 3 engineering qualification, or be able to evidence sufficient experience. You will have literacy and numeracy at level 2 and be able to use most Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Word. 

If you do not have a teaching and/or assessing qualification we will train you to gaining these qualifications.  We are very keen to provide all our team with the opportunity to continually develop their skill set.

Essential criteria
