Job Description

15 hours per week, Term Time Only

Based at the West Durrington Campus

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Learning Resource Assistant to work within our busy Learning Resource Centre at the West Durrington Campus

Our Learning Resource Centres provide access to an extensive library collection, IT facilities, specialist software and learning resources in print and digital formats. The Centres provide a supportive environment for individual work, group work, research, the practice of skills, learning and assessment.

The Learning Resources team support learning including the use of digital technology, facilitating research and software skill development and induction sessions.

You will have previous experience of working in a learning resource centre, use of online learning resources and tools and working in Further or Higher Education. Excellent customer service skills and ability to support learning are also essential.

The working pattern for this role is Tuesdays 08:45-17:00 and Fridays 08:45-16:30, term-time only
