Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (GB MET) is proposing to merge with the Chichester College Group (CCG). From 1 August 2022, all GB MET staff will transfer to employment with CCG; employment terms and conditions will remain the same.

Any candidates joining the College from 1 August onwards will be employed by CCG under their terms and conditions.

Job Description

Full-Time, based at the West Durrington Campus, but will be required to work cross College

If you are passionate about digital transformation, education and learning, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Digital team and contribute to the realisation of our digital strategy. The Digital Innovation Lead combines learning technology expertise with an excellent understanding of pedagogy in Further and Higher Education.

This role involves working with our teaching and learning teams developing digital capability and enhancing the learning experience through the research, development and utilisation of multiple curriculum focussed solutions. It additionally includes a collaborative approach to the creation of digital assets, sometimes beyond those in our college wide ‘toolkit'.

With a high level of experience and understanding of effective teaching and learning approaches using a range of learning technologies, you will also have experience in digital design and researching new technology. You should hold a degree level qualification, ideally in computer science or digital learning, and a teaching qualification.
